Devotional- Dried Up Christianity

I thought this devotional was pretty cool because it has my name in it and it is so true. From Route 365 (that's my devotional):We instructed you haw to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more.1 Thessalonians 4:1Alice had known Jesus for years, but her spiritual life didn't have the zip her best friend Darla's had."I'm afriad to witness to people," Alice admitted. "I might bore them to death. What do you have that I miss out on?"Sometimes being a Christian can turn into drudgery. We know the truth; we're not commiting any "major" sins; but our spiritual life seems to have stagnated. Where did we go wrong? When knowing God has as much excitement as a drive through a desert, check to see you're following the instructions He already gave you. Are you spending time with Jesus through regular Bible reading and prayer? Have you confessed all sin? Are you spending time with Christians who uplift you?Like Alice, all Christians have dry spells. Just don't let your life become a desert. Search for the water of God's Spirit, and drink deeply at His well.Jesus, I don't want to live in a desert when I can drink of your Spirit. Fill me up with your love.
